Who is Tesitor Financial Services?

Tesitor Financial Services and DATCO Insurance Consultants, Inc is an independent insurance brokerage and financial services firm. Our mission statement simply states our goal is to assist our clients in attaining their personal financial goals by listening to their needs and establishing a plan to meet their visions. Our philosophy is to have a dialogue with our clients and offer genuienly independent, objective advice and thought in assisting them to meet their financial goals. This is done through the many insurance contracts DATCO Insurance holds and through Mr. Tesitor's affiliation with his broker dealer, Walnut Street Securities,Inc. which offer a wide portfolio of mutual funds, variable products and financial services.

David Tesitor, CLU, along with his wife Mary Jo and children, Nathaniel, Hannah and Maria welcome you to this site. After all, I believe that my family is an important part of the success I share with our hundreds of clients. They help me truely understand the importance of planning for your goals.


After doing business in the Denver area for 20 years, the family decided to relocate in 1998 to the small southern Colorado town of Walsenburg and enjoy the beauty of the Spanish Peaks and of Huerfano County.

Our firm is committed to excellence in customer service and providing as much information as you require. It is through this site we hope to accomplish this objective as a means to keep you informed.

Mr. Tesitor is an investment advisor representative (IAR) for Walnut Street Advisors and Walnut Street Securities.  As an IAR,  we offer fee based investment consultation as well as brokerage accounts.  Mr Tesitor, CLU is also a Certified Life Underwriter and acts as an independent broker for various life insurance companies.
