Our Qualifications

David Tesitor, CLU, has been in the insurance business since graduating from the University of Colorado. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Finance in 1979. He received his Chartered Life Underwriter designation in 1992, his Series 6 license in 1987, Series 63 licence in 2001, Series 7 (stock brokers) in 2003 and Series 65 (Investment Advisory Representative) lisensein 2005.  David also completes several hours annually in continuing education courses to maintain his current licenses.

Mr. Tesitor began selling securities and variable products in 1987. Along with his current broker dealer, Walnut Street Securities, David has access to several hundred families of mutual funds and variable life and annuities products.  David now offers WRAP (Cap) accounts which offers load and no load funds on a fee basis.  The WRAP accounts offered through Walnut Street Advisory Services offers many advantages, including cost basis reporting, YTD and inception date performance results and many other services.

In addition to the academic, David is a member of the American College of CLU-ChFC, the National Association of Life Underwriters, The National Health Underwriters Association and The National Association of Christian Financial Consultants (NACFC). David also serves on the Board of Directors of the NACFC.  David is active in his community and church, having served on the Huerfano County Chamber of Commerce Board, the Huerfano County Economic Development and other civic causes.
